Yay!!! The Judge made her decision that Baby T is now officially Taryn Maria. We are soo excited. Court lasted maybe 45 minutes and had some interesting moments but in the end it was all good. Our team here in Astana was awesome and really went to bat for us. We can never thank them enough.
When I got up to do my speech, the Judge decided to ask me questions instead. Her first question was, did you know that your son looks like you and Taryn looks like Keith. It was pretty funny and broke the ice, because Keith was in the hot seat. He was asked numerous questions and a couple of them were pretty obscure. I think there was just a misunderstanding, but when you don't speak Russian and everyone is speaking all at once and loud, you get a little nervous. But all was good. The best part was I never did have to do my speech. When the Judge came back in with her decision it was great. We were so happy and then she did the nicest thing, she thanked us for taking care of Kazakhstan's children. We still have to wait another 15 days and all the paperwork can be processed.
After our hearing, we had to go sign some papers and then we went to lunch with our coordinator and interpreter. They didn't want to go anywhere fancy so we just went for some delicious pizza. Pretty funny, I know. It was a beautiful, clear day today and the best part is we are now a family of four.

Congrats!!!
