Our day started today with our friend from Astana taking us to the Metro Mart. This is a huge warehouse in the middle of no where. It is like Costco or Sams, but bigger. We went crazy. Not only did it make us feel like we were home, but bought a lot of food that you can't get in the local markets. They actually had bread crumbs from Shoprite. They also had great meat. We loaded up and are now good, we hope, for a long time.
After shopping, we ate at a great little cafe in New Astana(the left bank). It was call Bon Bon Cafe. How can you go wrong with "Bon Bon" in the name. It was delicious. We had cream of cabbage soup, salad , and spaghetti bolognese. Delicious. We then got to choose a little dessert. Perfect way to end a great morning of shopping.
We then went to the baby house for our visit with Little T. Since it was another beautiful day, we took Little T outside. She got the hiccups as we were walking out but was quickly cured after drinking a small bottle of chamomile tea. While we were sitting on the swing, we had a little visitor join us on the playground. He was a cute little boy, who I think was related to a baby house worker. He kept us entertained as he jumped from everything he could. He did tricks and then looked to see if we were watching. He was very cute and gave Keith a high five when we went inside.
Even though it was hot out, it was decided Little T needed to have a scarf on to keep her neck protected. Look at the picture of Keith in front of the baby house with her, pretty comical. They are dressed for 2 different seasons. Oh well, we are just going with the flow, even if my little cutie is sweating.
Little T was giving out smiles today. Lately, she has been a little stingy, so when we get one it is always a treat. Hopefully, she will start giving them out more frequently. We had a great visit sitting and walking around outside enjoying the weather and our little peanut. She is just a total delight. How lucky are we.

TGI Fridays, Costco, spaghetti! Eat some local food, you Americans! :)
